Where Did I Put The Egg Slicer? Left Cabinet, Top Shelf

Oh, that Hollywood would wise up and give in to those brilliant writer's. Because, ain't nothing on y'all. Nothing worth watching anyways. I actually think that the television is now actively making me dumber. Really.

After our movie last night, I surfed through the channels to find something to watch. A-N-Y-thing. And then I found that nice little channel that switches to infomercials like at 12:00am and diet products/earn your own income from home and make $100,000+ a month at 6:00am. right. But, I got sucked in, ya'll. I was shown products that I was convinced I could not live without. I saw them on the tee-vee, ya know. Fancy little things. Thank the Lord I'm strong, because I could have gone to bed having purchased:
  • the hard boiled egg slicer. Genius. It slices the egg in these perfect segments. Perfect for every time that I serve up a platter of hard boiled egg slices. Because I do that- uh, NEVER.
  • my lil reminder. This is one of those key chain voice recordin' dee-vices. You know, so I can walk around and dictate to myself. The package actually says, "You get two". I guess that's to remind yourself where the heck the other one is.... I promise I'm working hard on finding a utube of this one to post, because SERIOUSLY?

** I found it! If you can make it through the video to the part where they show that the gadget has a built in LED light (which they conveniently shine in your face), please insert a "Ka-Chow!" ala Lightning McQueen.**

So - at what point do you actually sleep?
And Emily has EVERY kitchen gadget in the world....most of them came with the husband!

I actually have one of those egg slicer thingies (Target) and the novelty still hasn't worn off. Great for egg salad.

As for the voice recorders, I can talk to myself without technology.

Enjoy your weekend.

I am laughing, laughing, laughing. I never thought of the 2nd reminder being used to remind you where the first one is--what a great idea.

My idea of an egg slicer is to go buy the pre-cut stuff off the salad bar at the grocery store :-)

I've always loved the voice recorder commercial. I just love the look on the lady's face when she's listening to her grocery list in the store. Can she not remember FOUR BASIC FOODS??? I mean, she doesn't have a screaming 3 year old with her. She should have some remaining brain cells to remember little stuff like that.
