If It's Stuck, Fix It. If It Talks, Listen.

Whew. What a day! I'm exhausted and relieved all wrapped up into one. I'm just glad the day is finally over!! Yippee! I'm taking the night off, and then hitting the books tomorrow to prepare for my first exam of the semester on Monday!

Here is an update on the home front:

  • Today, Homer woke up early from his nap (as always). He is my short sleeper. The only one so far of the three boys to take after his mama. Sebastian can sleep hours and hours and more hours. The same holds for Sebi and Gabriel. Homer, not so much. He usually wakes up and chit-chats until he decides that it's time for me to come and get him at which point he raises his voice. If, I decide to wait a while, he busts out with this lame Houdini routine where he wedges his leg in between the crib rails and then cries for help to get unstuck. (yeah, the lame part is that he can't get himself out). It's like a daily ritual around here. Well, today when I went to rescue Pudge I did the same thing I do every time. I tugged at either rail in opposing directions to loosen his leg a bit and then there was a *SNAP!* I broke the crib. oops.

  • While Homer and I were up together, I decided to finish getting dinner ready. He walked in the kitchen with the remote control in his hand, handed it to me, and said, "There you go." WHAT?#!? He kept repeating this phrase for the rest of the night. I'm just awestruck since Sebi's first phrase was, "it's stuck." ....hmmmmm. they seem a whole lot more related now.
