The Mind. It's a Terrible Thing To Waste.

I have made a miraculous recovery. Yes. I have retaken charge of my body from the cold that set up shop two days ago. I am a survivor. There isn't a sniffle in me left and I've used up all of my sick time.

What to do. What to do.

The transfer game- obviously. If you haven't played, you should. Really. It's a hoot and a half. Especially if the person you're playing with has no idea that they're playing. Let me explain the rules.

Basically, you pick the most annoying song you can think of and sing it and sing it until the person you're "playing" with gets it stuck in their head and starts singing it. Thus, the transfer. My target: My husband. I know. I'm a seriously great spouse :)

My 1st song of choice was "Funky Town". So, I sang, "won't you take me to. FUNKY TOWN! won't you take me to. FUNKY TOOWN!". That one took all of 7 minutes. Becky-1; Sebastian-0

My next song was a challenge. "Hangin' Tough" by the Backstreet Boys. I kid you not that for 39 minutes straight I sang, "whoaahhhoooooo-OOOO-oooooo-OOO. Just hangin' tough". The best I got was after I sang the whooaahh0000-0000 part, Sebastian would sing, "You're hangin tough!"

I consider that a win. Becky-2; Sebastian-0.

I'm off to go and try and convince my husband that the song "Panama" by Eddie Van Halen is called "Cannonball". I think I'll start the conversation by singing, "Cannonball! Cannonbaa-aa-aa-aa-aa-all!"
