Fashion Monday

Alright, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am no fashion aficionado. I have no clue what is in and what is out. In fact, by the time I figure out what is in, it's out again. I'm o.k. with that because I have a husband who still owns Girbaud jeans, so I look like the sensible one most days. Unless those are back too.

This is also (probably) why I don't do hair or make-up, because those styles change just as often as the fashion ones do.

That being said.

This jacket is all wrong on this model. The "model" is a wonderful new friend of my husband and I. In fact, she may very well kick my ass after I post this. But, Michelle you have my permission to take me out and get me drunk and post a funny picture of me. (Round Rock express tickets are already free for all four of us, so we'd only be looking at alcohol cost- and a possible driver).

And that's my jacket she's wearing... Remember, I'm like 5 foot nothing (if that). Next time I'll let her borrow my skirt. She's got smokin' legs!

I laughed out loud at your husband's Girbaud jeans. That takes me back to junior high! Those and Z Cavaricci's!!

Yeah. Good times. Bad hair.

If however, he starts rolling them up all tight at the ankles....that's a deal breaker.

Hilary, I didn't mean to remove your post and I don't feel like fighting with blogger to find out how to try and recover it!

I was trying to cut and paste into a word doc, so I could send you an e-mail, and something went wrong.

Very, very wrong. but, thanks for the advice!

Ah, yes. The tight-rolled look. I'm embarrassed to say that it took me a few months to get the hang of that. All the popular people knew how to do it, though.

I cheated and just wore the Guess jeans that zipped at the ankles.

OMG I totally wanted Girbaud jeans and my mom would NOT pay money for them or for the Guess Jeans that were so popular. So I totally went to the border and got a pair of Guess Jeans for 5 bucks... never realizing that the Guess was upside down on the back. I am and was a Dork.

Kelly - Totally with you on the rolling the jeans.

I had the Guess jeans with the zippers - I scratched up all the kitchen chairs by sitting on my feet. My mom was MAD. And that is one stylish jacket....quite a few years ago. And Em - we all know you are a dork - and LOVE you for it!
I also was REALLY good at "pegging" my jeans...folding them over to make them tight and THEN rolling them so they were too short. I can't imagine how big that would make my thighs look now!

I may have to go digging for another embarrassing picture of myself...I know I rolled the jeans too, but can't remember if I had any zippers.
