Oh, you guys

Today, I left for class dreading the rest of my day and evening. Remember the exam I mentioned that I have on Wednesday? Well, we must have got a wild hair- or maybe it's snowing somewhere it ought not be, but we decided that we would have a study group after class tonight at IHOP.

We are sensible women.

So, I ate my tuna sandwich *brain food*, and went on to class knowing this would be a loooong night. In walks the professor, and before he can scratch his ass, a student decides to corner him. In front of the whole class. So, it wasn't so much a corner as it was a massacre on his part.

"Prof. Can I talk with you about something? I've been speaking with some of the classmates and I think that we are a bit overwhelmed and we would like the exam to be postponed."

other student: "If you postpone the exam, you can lecture on Wednesday."



hmmm. I'm so glad she gave him the option along with her permission...

long story short. I don't have an exam on Wednesday. I do have a professor who apparently has lost total authority, but it's working in my favor so I'll just shut-up about that and get on to the whole purpose of this post.

I came home tonight to a very happy husband. It is Monday night football. Vince Young is playing. No more needs to be said.

I had resolved that since the t.v. was taken, I was going to bed at 9:30. Well, I got on the computer and see that all of you have come out of the wood works. So, obviously I need to check in on your lives and see how everyone is doing.

And I am just so relieved that Emily is alive and well. No post this morning was surprising- to say the least. I believe I hit the refresh button twice just to make certain. And by mid-day, I considered sending a shout out to Lydia or Erica to go and check on her.



I breathe easy now ;) ...and I'm off to read.
