Today was Bonnie's 30th birthday. And we had class until 9:00. I didn't want her having a bad 30th birthday, so I planned to have balloons all over the classroom, cupcakes for everyone there, and a special present that I had made her.
I gave her a framed sheet of notebook paper with the "30 reasons why you are a good friend and I love you". I have never been so reciprocally blessed with the reception of a gift. She smiled and laughed as she read it, and I could see sincere joy on her face.
I thought to myself, it really is just the little things in life that mean the most...
Happy Birthday, Bonnie. And I know you will never read this, because you never read my blog....but I still manage to reference you from time to time :)
