O.k, tonight was week 7 (and the final week) in the marriage series. We talked about the 5 love languages and how we all speak French to someone who speaks German- yada, yada, yada....
Call me crazy, (or maybe consider the glass of wine that I had), but does anyone else out there think that discovering your partner's love language should be a subject explored like in week..... 1???
Don't get me wrong, it was insightful. And I'm glad that I can now look back on the fights we had weeks 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 after each meeting, and attribute them to the fact that I like to be told that I am smart and funny and intelligent (because I am, right?), and he likes for me to show him physical affection, (like kiss him when he gets home).
Sounds so simple, right? Sure. But, I probably would have gotten pregnant in week 6 (topic -good sex), so maybe they know what they are doing.
Who knows. All I know is- I love my husband. He loves me. We just don't have a darned clue as to how to communicate that in the way each other would like.
But, thank you week 7. For being last. And, no thank you week 7. For not being week 1. If that makes any sense.

I have that Love Languages book, it is VERY interesting I think and I should probably go re-read it :)
