Ka Boom?

I wanted to end the NoMoBloPoMo with a bang, so consider this post that firecracker that got lit and just never went off.

I've lost all my fizzle. Is anyone else drained?

To everyone who took part: Emily, Kelly, Lydia, Ali- Congratulations! But I'm sure those words mean nothing when rivaled with the mass e-mail sent out to inform all of us that we could pick up an "I Did It!" badge.

Because the next time I do something awesome, like run my first marathon, or save a life...I want to drive somewhere on the internet to "pick up" my words of recognition. Not that I'm bitter.

I just thought they could put together a slide show (complete with girly/bond, cry music) of all of us here in front of our computers, typing, deleting, re-typing, laughing, googling post ideas, visiting everyone else's blogs, ...but,

they didn't.

O.k., I didn't. But had I the capabilities, the time, the creativity (wait, got that)- I would have, ladies. REALLY. Because I won't make you go to a site to pick up your damn, I Did It badge.

O.k., I'm not gonna do that either. And now I understand creators and moderators of the NoBloPoMo. You're just tapped out too, aren't you? Wait. Where's your 30 days?

And I want no comments on how I happened to place posting for 30 days straight and saving a human life on the same pedestal
