I've Been Tagged

I've been tagged...here are the rules:

1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Eight Random Facts About Me

1. If I have time on my hands, I am so not productive. It's odd, but when there are a million things going on, thats when things seem to get done.
(Who knows, I may have been granted some angels that finish tasks for me while I sleep.)

2. I am obsessive about keeping the house clean, especially for company. When I was in college, my best friend came over and my apartment was in such a mess that I didn't answer the door. :(

3. My bedroom is ALWAYS messy. (the closet is just sad really) I am coming to terms with this. But visitors don't really see it because I have to have my dog holed up in there so he won't injure anyone.

4. I love to dress up and look pretty, I just don't do it much if at all.

5. I actually just cried after typing and re-reading number 4.

6. I have had a few different jobs.
*I was an aerobic instructor for years, and at one point was teaching classes at U.T., World Gym, Saint David's Hospital, and Lost Creek Country Club- all at the same time.
*I was a receptionist at the gym
*I was a waitress
*I worked for Dell inside sales
*I was an anesthesia tech in surgery

7. I hate to be late. "On time" to me is 15 minutes early. My husband is the polar opposite, and we deal with this issue quite a bit...

8. I once got a return phonecall from the producer's of Wife Swap. This is a sad story really, but I can laugh about it now. One night after watching the show, (and coincidentally getting into an arguement with my husband) I threatened to (and did) call the number they were flashing on the screen.

Basically when you call, you get to leave a voicemail.

I have no idea what I said on that message to this day. I do know this. Whatever it was must have been t.v. worthy, because that producer called me the very next morning!
Well, there's my 8 random facts. Looks like everyone in the blogging ring has done it so I'm tagging my sister, Vanni.

So... what happened when you talked to the producer?

Well, the conversation didn't last long because she immediately asked if it was a good time for me.

I told her I was about to put my son down for a nap.

She asked how old my son was. And long story short, he was too young for the show.

I'd still bet a good chunk of money that had he been older, we would have aired that season :)
