We had another busy weekend. Maria Elena came back to stay for another 6 months! We all (and I mean we all) met up at the Grandparents to welcome her back. The cousins had a great time together, and we enjoyed visiting with all of the family. I am wrapping up the summer session. I have 4 exams left, but by the time this post makes it on the blog that number will have decreased to only 1! Sebastian will be taking his history certification exam this Saturday, so please have him in your prayers to get yet another certification under his belt. I wish I could help him, but history is NOT my area. Everyone is doing well. Until next time... :)

I suppose I should get on the ball with the weekly Sunday posts. Not only have I surpassed my deadline (which has pathetically extended to Wednesday evening), but I can't for the life of me think of what went on last week...The least I could do was move the post around on the blog. Think of it as a game of "seek and find"....a small gift from me to you :)

This was a fun weekend. Sebi got invited to his friend Ashlyn's birthday party at the Texas Jumping Beans. I had heard of it, but had never actually gone there. I think the babies are a bit young for all the action, but it was right on par for little Sebi. He was so excited, running from playscape to playscape. The kids all had a favorite - a giant blow up caterpillar that you had to squeeze through his front to enter. Well, I suppose we can all see that there is only one other way out....... But it was quite entertaining watching a huge blow-up caterpillar shoot little kids out from his rear. The party favors for the kids to take home was play-doh. All the kids sat and were constructing their little projects. Sebi worked busily at tearing little chunks of play-doh and putting them in a pile. I thought he was just making a mess, so naturally I asked what he was doing. He said he "was making the chicken - for the taco". He then proceded to flatten a piece of play-doh (asked for help from mama) and then put the chicken inside the tortilla. Sebi had made his 1st taco. I was so proud, beaming. As my chin was raised and I turned to the other kids, there was Cooper (Ashlyn's brother) making a dinosaur. My head went left, (taco) then right, (dinosaur) and I was still just as proud :)

Well, I managed to actually extend the Sunday post deadline to Wednesday! Let's see what been going on. We had a 4th of July / Happy B-day Roxie barbeque at Juan & Toni's. It was good fun, good food, great company. All the kids had a slice of watermelon bigger than their faces, Roxie had a beautiful and delicious ice cream cake (which was perfect in this heat!), and the babies got to explore and play with new toys! We got to spend time with the Granparents on Sunday, which is always nice. Grandma made some migas that managed to disappear moments after being placed on the table :) Sebastian will be going back to the restaurant for the summer, and I'm trecking along with my summer courses. :)
