So, today was our official day 1 of training for the marathon that I WILL RUN 3 days before my next birthday. Now let's all keep in mind that I have no idea what my training entails. Bonnie is in charge of that. I am just supposed to show up and run....jog (at this point).
I will not question her plans, or authority. No. She did the training schedule, she was in the military, and really y'all- if she sets her mind to it, there is no point arguing with Bonnie unless you're in it for the long haul. That kind of arguing is reserved for my husband, and I don't think I've the stamina to foster it up for another relationship.
So, like I said- questioning my plans for the next 18 weeks is just really silly. But,
...I was just wondering why day 1 was only 1 mile. That's all.
***and, I had every intention of taking a day 1 photo, but I forgot my camera what with all the excitement of my memorous day. So I guess it will be a day 2 photo that I will take tomorrow and post***

Yikes on the ear infections! I hope everyone gets better quickly.
And YAY on doing Day 1... and that 1 mile???
So sorry about the ear infections!
Way to go on the training schedule. Me? I'd be happy with "just a mile". :)
WOO HOO on the training! I want DETAILS... there is a 1/2 marathon in March near me and I am still on the fence on whether to train or not... so if you tell me you ran 7 miles yesterday that would tell me I am NOT going to train :) SO DETAILS WOMAN!
And I am all about the early morning training sessions... but I don't stay up to midnight every night :)
I'll update with details and a possible schedule after Wednesday. I've got one final to go!
But, in the mean time. YOU CAN TOTALLY start training for a 1/2 marathon now and do it.
Ours in in April, in Dallas. So we have just a bit more time than you would.
